For my project the thing I never got to say was "Thank You". My concept was that so often in you're life people will say things to bring you down, people will leave you and people will make you think less of your self. We usually look at this from a negative prospective but I chose to look at it from a positive perspective. I am so thankful for those people and the things they did because if they didn't do those things I wouldn't be the same person I am today and im greatful for that. So I never got the chance to say "Thank You". I represented this in my art by taking a linoleum block and carving a industrial design with sharp things, nails, screws and gears. Then I chose black and grey to overlap the prints for the background. On another sheet of paper I painted a flower vase with acrylic. Then once both pieces dried I cut out the flower vase painting and used gel medium to glue it on to the background. The industrial background represents what people have done. And the flowers are representing the "Thank You".
